Kids win in Spring Communications, Job Readiness contests
A special cookbook featuring recipes submitted by Newcastle-area residents is being created by Newcastle High School students. The idea is to make a keepsake that also raises funds for the student groups.
Newcastle Chamber of Commerce board member Brittany Houser recently announced that the February 27 chamber luncheon will be the annual Racers for Excellence Scholarship Auction and Luncheon. The luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Newcastle High School Field House/Wellness Center, 101 N. Main. The public is invited to attend.
