On January 25, McClain County 4-H hosted the spring communications and job readiness contest at the Newcastle Library.
Thirteen 4-H members competed in the communications contest ranging from off-the-cuff speeches to food demonstrations.
The job readiness contest gives members first-hand experience on how a job interview process goes and members gain important record keeping skills while doing a resume for the contest. Here are the results from both contests.
