The following persons have been charged by the State of Oklahoma with traffic or other violations or have filed other court actions in McClain County District Court between February 29-March 6, 2024.

Several Oklahoma Department of Transportation projects affecting McClain County near Newcastle have been approved. These include widening work on U.S. Interstate 35 and the new interchange at State Highway 9 and I-35. They also include changes in speed limits at Newcastle.

Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby is the keynote speaker for the next Newcastle Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
