Correction

We reported in last week’s issue of the Newcastle Pacer that the Newcastle Racer baseball team was rained out from playing Lindsay on Tuesday, April 25. This was in error. The game was played and the Racers beat Lindsay, 6-2.

Rep. Conley thanks those helping after tornadoes

After visiting sites affected by Wednesday night’s tornadoes in Cleveland and Mc-Clain Counties, Rep. Sherrie Conley, R-Newcastle, is sending heartfelt condolences to the families of two people who died in Cole and those who were wounded or who lost homes or other property in the disaster including in the communities of Cole, Etowah, Noble and Slaughterville.
