Newcastle fast-pitch softball players Maddie Torrenueva, Brooklyn Lyles and Aubree Ferguson were presented All-State jackets at a recent basketball game for their play in the 2023 season.

Several Newcastle wrestlers placed individually on the way to a first-place girls’ finish, and a second-place boys’ finish at the 50th Annual CPL Bryan Scripsick Memorial Tournament at Pauls Valley.

Newcastle High School’s Dance team took part in the recently held Class 5A Oklahoma State Dance Team Director’s Association competition. Members of the team are: Adison Newman, Jaidriana Salas, Kaidyn Blevins, Leah Boone, Isabella Kelley, Kynzli Heltcel, Kayleigh Pate, Kylie Savage, Head Coach Rylea Cole, and Assistant Coach Maggie Goolsby.

Newcastle’s girls made the drive to Blanchard on Tuesday, December 12 to turn around and come home with the 41-22 win.
