Newcastle’s Kiwanis International Club is having a pancake fundraiser to benefit the Racer Fastpitch program.
They’ll be serving pancakes and coffee from 8-11 a.m. at Veterans Park in Newcastle on Saturday.
Meals will include pancakes, eggs, sausage or bacon for a $5 donation.
A Kiwanis Club spokesperson said, “Make breakfast picnics in the park a thing. Come picnic in the park during our pancake breakfast fundraiser. While you are there, you can walk through the Farmer’s Market and check out all the homemade/homegrown goods.”
They are also offering a raffle for a chance to win a Scooters Coffee Basket. Entry for the raffle is $1 per ticket, and the winners will be announced at noon.
