Ruth A. Nolin

Ruth A. Nolin, 92, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at Arbor House in Mustang. She was born on March 17, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Arlie Lee Epperson and Mary Maud Epperson.

She and her late husband Joe were long-time residents of Newcastle, Oklahoma. Ruth was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School and worked many jobs throughout her life. She retired as a Revenue Officer from the IRS on March 31, 1995.

She loved reading, gardening, quilting, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Dobbs of Newcastle, Mike Nolin of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, Don Nolin (Cheryl) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Denise Calvert of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Paul Nolin of Smyrna, Tennessee; two sisters, Mary Flynn of Boyd, Texas, and Martha Huffman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by: her husband Joseph Nolin; her parents, Arlie Lee and Mary Maud Epperson; brothers, Al Epperson, Johnny Epperson, Harold Epperson, and Richard Epperson; and sisters, Betty Wilson, Joan Baldwin, Shirley Searcy, and Dovie Wilson.

Viewing was held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, 800 N.W. 5th Street, Moore, Oklahoma, with interment at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the Blanchard Cemetery.
