She was born in Maysville, Oklahoma, to Edith and Floyd Reed. She also lived in Purcell before moving to Oklahoma City as a teen, where she attended Capitol Hill High School and graduated Valedictorian of the Class of 1950.
Roma Collene Hill was married to Frankie Lester Hill for over 60 years, and is survived by two children: Linda Cheryl “Cheri” Leinneweber and her husband, Eugene, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; and Frankie Lynn Hill of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She is also survived by: granddaughters Christina Leinneweber, Sarah Hill Rogalsky, and Anne Hill; and grandsons James Hill, Jonathan Hill, and Stephen Hill. Collene is survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Collene cherished her time working 31 years at Newcastle High School, where she made many friends of students, parents and faculty. She was devoted to her family and was the best grandmother — the perfect example of selfless love.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Frankie, six years prior; her beloved brother, Hubert “Hub” Reed (who died 11 days prior); her parents, and grandparents.
