Carolyn was born July 3, 1935, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a daughter of Ruth and Harry Cook. She attended school and graduated from Will Rogers High School.
Carolyn married the love of her life, William “Jerry” Moore, on October 6, 1950, in Foyle, Oklahoma. The two were blessed with two children, Marcia Carolyn and Susan Michelle.
Carolyn was a loving, nurturing, and care giving mother who loved giving for her children. Carolyn loved being a homemaker, providing home cooked meals for her family, and providing a wonderful home for her family.
Carolyn lived in Duncan, Oklahoma, for the majority of her life until 2020 when she relocated and made Newcastle, Oklahoma, her home. She enjoyed traveling, camping at the lake, watching hummingbirds, and most of all spending time with her family. Carolyn had a special love for her rescue terrier and companion, “Shag.” She would take him for drives, made him special meals and took him for walks around their neighborhood.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia Wells and husband Jim; daughter Michelle Presley and husband Rick; granddaughter Jamie Persall; granddaughter Jennifer Cathey and husband Chris; grandson Jeffrey Presley; granddaughter Dreu Kopf; granddaughter Shelley Diaz; great-grandchildren Emily Filippone and husband Austin, Ben Persall and wife Cassidy, Taylor Blagg, Tristin Cathey, Rylee Kopf, Cameron Cathey, Gracie Kopf, Sonny Diaz, and Rainn Diaz; and great-great-granddaughter Barbara Filippone.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Harry Cook, husband Jerry Moore, and grandson-in-law Matthew Kopf.
