The Otha Grimes Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to five Practical Nursing students at Mid-America Technology Center.

Newcastle golfer Aydan Smith was listed as honorable mention in the 2023 Oklahoman All-City girls golf roster, after a senior year which culminated with a trip to the State Golf Tournament.

Several Mid-America Technology Center students were awarded the annual Builders Association of South Central Oklahoma scholarships.

Like pioneer aviator “Pearl” Carter Scott or retired Navy test pilot and astronaut Cmdr. John Herrington, Austin Wallace is making his mark on Oklahoma aviation. Recently, Wallace took a leap of faith by following his dreams of opening Adventure Air, a premier flight school in Goldsby, Oklahoma.
