The coach said the Racers are playing alright now, after a lull where they had to fight through some adversity.
“But when you fight through some things, that can be a good thing,” he said.
Newcastle plays against Washington Friday, and then is scheduled to play Monday at home for Senior Night against Bishop McGuinness. Senior Night begins at 5:30 p.m. and the game will begin at 6 p.m. The Racers have an 18-1 season record, and they are 5-0 in District.
