We had an error in the page 1 story concerning the “2023 school year underway” from last week’s issue of the Newcastle Pacer. We incorrectly reported the increase in prices on student meals for the 2023--
24 school year. The increases are as follows: 2022-23 student breakfast prices at all school sites were $1.50. They were raised 15¢ and are now $1.65. 2022-23 student lunch prices at the elementary were $2.70. They were raised 15¢ and are now $2.85. 2022-23 student lunch prices at the secondary school sites were $2.95 and they were also raised 15¢. The
2023-24 price is $3.10. We regret this error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
