The McClain County Cattlemen’s Association recently awarded four $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors.
Scholarship recipients are: Cole Scott, Washington FFA; Lexie Owens, Wayne FFA; Adam Owens, Wayne FFA; and Rylie Hurley, Stratford FFA.
Funds for the scholarships were raised by a pancake breakfast hosted by the Washington Masonic Lodge and through the sale of raffle tickets for a buckboard bench made by Gary Perry of Washington.
