Newcastle Schools has firmly established a vision for the district as a place where all students can tap into their potential and find a way to be active and serve others. After three years of working their strategic plan, they have changed the NPS mission statement to reflect what they have learned and accomplished. It is the following: Newcastle Public Schools, as a caring community, guarantees high quality educational opportunities for the whole student every day and for the future.
The school recognizes there is still much work to be done. Improving academic performance and offering more opportunities for career development are top priorities. They said the encouragement and support of the community to continue to improve facilities drives us forward and prepares us to level up as we grow to be a 5A district.
NPS had the privilege of celebrating its Centennial during the 2022-2023 school year. They believe Newcastle Public Schools has served Newcastle with heart and courage over the last 100 years.
They are looking forward to the next century serving this community with tremendous growth and Racer Pride.
