Three Newcastle boys qualified for the prestigious 2023 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Nathaniel Orr, Mason Grooms and Braylon Hardin were three of the top 42 riders in the country who could qualify for a class in the Motocross race.
The boys reportedly worked hard at qualifying events all year, earning their tickets to the ranch and the AMA Amateur Championship.
Orr has made the trip three times and this will be his fourth.GroomsandHardinare both making their second trip to the championship.
The national race will take place July 31 through August 5 and will be livestreamed on racertv.com.
Orr, is the son of Daniel and Tammy Orr.
Grooms is the son of Brent andLyndseyGrooms,andHardin is the son of Billy and Jessie Hardin.
