An early deadline has been established for advertising and news items in the July 6 issue of the Newcastle Pacer.
Because of the Independence Day holiday July 4, the Pacer office will be closed.
Any announcements or activities submitted for the newspaper, as well as classified advertisements, legal notices, and display advertisements must be at the office by 4 p.m. Friday, June 30 in order to be published in the July 6 issue.
Publisher Mark Codner said, “Thank you for reading the Newcastle Pacer. We hope you and your family have the opportunity this July 4 to enjoy each other and to celebrate American independence.”
The Pacer will return to its normal deadline schedule after the July 6 issue.
