Newcastle 4-H will be meeting at 4:30 p.m. on January 23 in the Community Room at Newcastle Public Library.
Newcastle 4-H leader Tammy Elliott said, “If you are interested in participating in 4-H or finding out more about 4-H, please join us.”
Elliott said if you think you would like to participate, but you do not have the space for an animal to show, you should know that you do not need space or an animal. She said 4-H has many projects that do not require animals.
Sewing, cooking, job readiness, photography, archery, and hiking are just a few of the 4-H projects in which your child can participate.
