Friends of the Newcastle Public Library will host their annual Book Sale and Craft show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the library, 705 N.W. 10th Street.
Customers can fill a bag of books for $5. There will also be a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Friends are also selling raffle tickets for their annual quilt giveaway fundraiser. Tickets can be purchased for $1, or 6 for $5.
The book sale is the Friends’ one big event each year and helps provide needed funding to the library for programs.
The proceeds from the book sale support library programs for all ages.
The Blood Drive, by the Oklahoma Blood Institute, will be in the OBI bus this year, next to the library.
