Owners Brandie and JT Lane said their Grand Opening at Elevate Tri-City Faith, Family, Fitness, located at 200 N.E. 16th Street in Newcastle, was a big success.
They had about 100 people in attendance, and approximately 40 kids participating in their Kids Klub workout.
“We also had our friends, Grammy recording artist Dele’ Olasiji from Meant2B and Women’s National Basketball Association hopeful Skylar Vann there signing autographs, and talking to the kids who were here,” JT said. “It was a super neat day, and the kids had a blast.”
Elevate’s Adult Fitness Challenge (the Summer Sprint Challenge) had an orientation on Saturday, and kids’ workouts got underway on April 24, led by a certified kids’ group fitness instructor.
The times will be 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and also 9 a.m. on Saturdays.
Adult Classes are 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and noon, 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
