We reported in last week’s issue of the Newcastle Pacer that the Newcastle Racer baseball team was rained out from playing Lindsay on Tuesday, April 25. This was in error. The game was played and the Racers beat Lindsay, 6-2.
The game was tied, 2-2, going into the 10th inning when the Racers managed to score four more. Newcastle had 12 hits in the game. Logan Wade, Tyler Frazier, Alex Logan and James Folsom all had multiple hits for the Racers.
Jackson Schanuel was the winning pitcher for the Racers. We regret this error and any inconvenience.
