2023 District Champion Racers Newcastle’s Slow-Pitch softball team won the District title last week, beating Cushing 7-6 in game one, and then run-ruling Harrah, 12-0, in game two. They played Cushing a second time for the championship, winning 7-1. The Racers play at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) in Tecumseh at the Regional Tournament. Their first game is against Tecumseh. Also at the Regional will be Bristow and Chandler.
