“The damage is devastating,” Conley said. “I am so sorry for those who’ve suffered loss and are grieving. At the same time, I am so gratified to see the outpouring of support by the community, volunteers and state agencies who are responding to help with the cleanup and recovery. It is just amazing what everyone has been able to accomplish in such a short time. I know we have a long road ahead toward full restoration, but this start gives me such hope and makes me very proud of those exhibiting our Oklahoma Standard.”

Conley thanked Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt for visiting the site of the tornado in Cole as well as the following entities for their response to the disaster: the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, B&H Construction, the Cole Fire Department, the Dibble FFA, McClain County Commissioners, McClain, Grady and Cleveland County Sheriff’s Departments, Oklahoma Emergency Management and many others that have volunteered their time and resources to assist in the recovery and cleanup efforts.
