Rotary Club International of Newcastle wants to know how good your knowledge base is.
They are planning a Trivia Night fundraiser with doors open at 6 p.m. and the game starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20 at Libby’s Cafe at 111 N. Main in Goldsby.
Rotary spokesperson Tamara Holland said all proceeds made from the event will be used by the Newcastle Rotary Club for either a scholarship for a Newcastle High School student or for medical bicycles for McClain-Grady County Emergency Medical Services.
Tickets for Trivia Night are $10 per person or $50 for teams of up to six people. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three winners and the most creative team.
You can pre-register your team at [email protected] or you can register on the day of the event.
Rotary is also supporting a Basic Life Support Class from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Newcastle Community Storm Shelter, 851 N. Carr Drive.
Participants will learn life saving skills from members of the McClain-Grady County EMS, and will receive a book and a participation card.
The cost of this class is $75 and all proceeds will be used toward the purchase of the medical bicycles.
