Head Coach Zach Hale said, “Coming off a big loss the night before to Elgin, we tightened up our laces and strapped the headgears on tight with a mission to go to Pauls Valley and win the tournament — and we did just that.”
Hale said the Racers were in the tournament every time there was a Newcastle wrestler on the mat.
