EASTER EGG HUNT
An Easter Egg Hunt starts at 2 p.m. sharp Saturday, April 1 at Veterans Park with activities immediately after the egg hunt.
There will be free hot dogs, pony rides, moon bounces, a petting zoo, candy- and toyfilled eggs, train rides, games, prize eggs, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

This year’s event is April 2729 , and the City’s normal garage sale permit fee is waived.
Registration is free and must be done online. An interactive map of garage sale locations will be online before the event begins to help participants find and plan out their hunt for bargains.

FARMERS MARKET The City of Newcastle is announcing the 2023 season of the Newcastle Farmers and Artisans Market, to be held on Saturdays throughout the summer at Veterans Park, 705 N.W. 10th Street.
The Farmers Market will be from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays: May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12, 19, 26, September 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

RED, WHITE, & BLUE FEST PLANNED JULY 1 A call for vendors is being put out by the City for this year’s Red, White & Blue Fest on July 1. They are seeking craft vendors and kids activities’ vendors. The Newcastle Red, White & Blue Fest 2023 will be from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at Veterans Park.
Registration closes May 29, but you can sign up your booth by visiting the City’s webpage at cityofnewcastle.com, and clicking on the Red, White, & Blue Fest event, then following the link, or scanning the QR code.
