Choir Director Sarah Stancil said this contest was on Saturday, February 25. Students prepared solos or ensemble pieces before attending, then sang their prepared piece for a judge at the contest. The judge scored them on a five point scale (Superior, Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor). High school students who earned a “Superior” rating qualified for state. Qualifers were: Bussum, Claypool, Nelson, Phillips, Emma Wilson.
