Cal was at the Newcastle Animal Shelter longer than any other dog currently. He has been there since March 2024. Cal was adopted by the Cottrell family at the Easter at the Park event at the Free Adoption Day. The booth was sponsored by OEC and the Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Newcastle Animal Shelter.
