Newcastle Racers baseball has had four big wins approaching Spring Break and concluding the break.
The Racers beat Asher 140, Purcell 10-6, Harrah 11-1, and Bishop McGuiness, 13-1.
From the game scores it appears the Racers are seeing success swinging their bats, and playing defense. As well, several pitchers have seen success. Logan Wade got the win against Harrah Monday. He’s now 2-0 on the year.
Trey Crossley got the win against Asher, Tyler Frazier nabbed the win against Purcell, and Josh Langford got the win in the Bishop McGuiness game.
The Racers are 5-1 on the year.
Newcastle was scheduled to play again Tuesday night at Harrah, but the outcome could not be reported due to print deadlines for the Newcastle Pacer.
