Ambulance service responds to 261 calls in March

McClain-Grady Emergency Medical Services reports a total of 261 calls for the month of March 2025.

Of those, 104 were non-transport while 157 were billed. EMS had an average response time of 8.04 minutes with an average miles per patient transport of 12.10.

EMS provided mutual aid on six calls. The types of calls they responded to included the following: Abdominal pain, 9; alcohol intoxication, 3; altered consciousness, 7; anxiety episode, 6; assault, 3; auto accident, 23; cardiac arrest, 9; chest pain, 27; choking, 1; fall, 28; hemorrhage, 5; hyperglycemia, 2; hypertension, 4; hypoglycemia, 3; industrial accident, 1; laceration, 3; lift assist, 23; overdose, 4; psychiatric emergency, 4; seizure, 7; shortness of breath, 22; sick call, 54; stroke, 1; suicide attempt, 2; and syncope, 10.
