Rep. Jonathan Wilk, RGoldsby, recently hosted a high school senior as a page at the Oklahoma House of Representatives during the eighth week of the First Session of the 60th Legislature.

Gracie Flint, a senior at Washington High School, served during the eighth week of session. Flint, from Washington, plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College to study animal science and agriculture. She has earned national honor society recognition and has been actively involved in extracurricular activities.

Flint is a recipient of the Greenhand Award, a State FFA Degree recipient, and the 2024-2025 chapter vice president. She placed fifth in the State Agriscience competition, is a top 50 livestock judger, and is among the top 30 singular skeet shooters. After college, she plans to start two businesses and work as a jock and fitter for families at livestock shows.

“Gracie is a dedicated and talented student with a bright future ahead,” Wilk said.

“Her commitment to academics, leadership, and agriculture is inspiring. It was an honor to have her at the Capitol as a page, and I look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in the years to come.”

Wilk serves House District 20, which includes Newcastle, in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

He said he is committed to fostering young leaders and providing students with opportunities to engage in state government.

The House High School Page Program is open to juniors and seniors. Pages are assigned for one week Monday through Thursday where they work in the House Chamber during daily session, assist representatives and House staff, and take part in the House Page Mock Legislature.
