Statewide, sales and use tax collections were up over the same time period as last year, according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
Newcastle, Purcell and Blanchard all reported gains on business conducted from January 16 through February 15.
McClain County saw an increase of $23,288.66 when compared to returns from last year.
Blanchard’s increase was $75,211 while Purcell was up $24,507, and Newcastle saw an increase of $20,230 over this time last year.
