TheMcClainCountyDemocrat Party of Oklahoma has announced that it is conducting its biennial elections for precinct officers and county officers.
Those elected as Precinct Officers become the delegation of voting members to vote for the County Officers. Both elections will be held April 12. All registered Democrats residing in McClain County are eligible to participate.
This McClain County Democrat Convention will be held from 1-4 p.m. April 12 at the Purcell Multipurpose Building, 1400 Chandler Road. The phonenumberis405-527-7227.
McClain County has 27 precincts, each one representing an area close to the polling location.
Precincts are critical to building a grassroots movement, according to party officials.
They ask that anyone interested consider becoming a part of this important networking position.
