Sullins and Elcyzyn recognized by NPS
Donnie Sullins (middle), emergency management director and safety officer for the City of Newcastle, and Ayden Elcyzyn (right), Newcastle High School senior, were in attendance at the February Board of Education meeting. Pictured with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Cathy Walker, they were recognized by the school. Sullins was recognized as a Community Partner for NPS, and his office hosted Elcyzyn as an intern this semester. Elcyzyn was recognized by Athletic Director Brent Hodges and Coach Jeff Brickman for representing the Chickasaw Nation in the Native American All-Star football game. • photo provided
