Medical Marijuana sales in McClain County resulted in a total of $74,423.67 being collected in January 2025 with portions of that being returned to the municipalities where the sales were made.
These taxes are split between the State Medical Marijuana Authority (MMJ), the city or county of origin, and the State of Oklahoma. For January sales, Newcastle had $8,981.27 returned to city coffers. Purcell had $8,878.84 returned, and Blanchard had $5,530.06 returned.
The MMJ was given a total from McClain County sales of $29,523.19, and the State was given $21,510.31.
