Nicole Conner’s professional journey is a testament to dedication, perseverance, and a lifelong commitment to learning and community service. From earning degrees in various fields to becoming an educator and eventually securing a role at the OSU Extension Office in Purcell, Conner’s story is one of continuous growth and achievement.

Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Thomas Edison State University and an Associate of Science degree from Three Rivers Community College.

Despite already holding degrees, Conner’s passion for horticulture led her to pursue further education.

In 2023, she earned a Horticulture Technician Certificate from Mid-America Technology Center (MATC) — a decision that would open doors to new opportunities.

During her time at MATC, Conner’s dedication and expertise did not go unnoticed.

After completing her certification, she transitioned from being a student to a teacher’s assistant, working closely with Kara Murphy in the Horticulture Technician program and David Graham in the Criminal Justice Officer program. This dual role showcased her versatility and her commitment to supporting students in various fields of study.

With 2025 underway, Conner begins a new chapter in her career as an Extension Educator at the OSU Extension Office. In her role, she focuses on Community Economic Development and 4-H Youth Development.

This position allows Conner to leverage her diverse educational background and teaching experience to make a broader impact on the community.

As an Extension Educator, Conner is dedicated to fostering growth and development in both individuals and communities.

Whether she is helping young people discover their potential through 4-H programs or working on initiatives to boost local economic development, Conner continues to serve as a role model and leader.

Her journey from a Horticulture student at MATC to a teacher’s assistant and now an Extension Educator embodies the power of lifelong learning and community engagement.

Her story inspires others to pursue their passions, embrace new challenges, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

As she continues to grow and make an impact, Conner serves as a shining example of how education and dedication can pave the way for a fulfilling career and life.
