The McClain County Republican Party is pleased to announce that its 2025 County Convention will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Newcastle Storm Shelter, 851 Carr Drive, Newcastle, OK 73065. Paul Maus, McClain County GOP Chair, invites all registered Republicans residing in McClain County to participate in this important event.
Registration opens at 8 a.m., and all attendees must be in line and registered by 8:45 a.m. The convention will begin with precinct meetings from 9-10 a.m., followed immediately by the county convention at 10:15 a.m., concluding at 12:30 p.m.
Maus also announced that in the event of inclement weather, a backup date for the convention has been set for Saturday, March 1, 2025.
The County Convention is an opportunity for local Republicans to engage in the party’s grassroots process, elect county leadership, and discuss key issues affecting our community. While visitors are welcome to attend, only registered Republicans residing in McClain County will be allowed to participate in voting.
