Across the State of Oklahoma, voters went to the polls on Tuesday, March 7 to say a resounding “no” to the legalization of recreational marijuana.
The numbers were 349,121 against the proposal fo State Question 820, or 61.7%, to 216,883 for the question, or 38.3%.
In McClain County, the numbers were even stouter with 72% of the voters against the proposition. Of the more than 7,000 votes cast, 5,101 were against the measure with 1,984 voting yes (28%).
