The January report from the Oklahoma Tax Commission was recently sent out and reflects returns of tax dollars sent back to area municipalities for purchases made in December.
Newcastle sales and use tax returns were in the positive by $11,405.96. Purcell was up nearly $81,000 over 2024 numbers and Mc-Clain County’s check was just under $20,000 over figures from 2024.
Goldsby was also up nearly $60,000 over last year.
Area municipalities showing a decrease in 2025 compared to 2024 reporting include Blanchard, Noble and Pauls Valley.
