Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-WY) today announced that U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) will serve on the Deputy Whip team during the 119th Congress.
The Deputy Whip team has the responsibility to unite the Senate Republican conference, to ensure they have the votes to pass or block legislation, and to help lead the charge to enact Presidentelect Donald J. Trump’s policy agenda.
Mullin said, “I’m grateful to my friend, Senator John Barrasso, for choosing me to serve on his Deputy Whip team to help strengthen our Republican conference and fight for the America First agenda.”
