Committee assignments were recently announced for the 60th Legislature beginning in February for both the Oklahoma Senate and the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Both of McClain Counties new legislators received committee assignments.
Senator Pro Tem-Elect Lonnie Paxton, R-Tuttle, announced that State Senator Kendal Sacchieri, RBlanchard, will serve on the following: Revenue and Taxation, Education, Local and County Government, Appropriations, Administrative Rules, and Select Agencies.
House Speaker-Elect Kyle Hilbert, R-Bristow, announced the following appointments for State Rep. Jonathan Wilk, R-Goldsby: A&B Natural Resources Subcommittee, Commerce and Economic Development Oversight, and Wildlife Committee.
