Mike Hancock, a longtime member of the Mid-America Technology Center (MATC) Board of Education, has announced his resignation, effective December 31.
Hancock joined the board on August 10, 1998, dedicating over 26 years of service to the community. Representing District 3, his leadership impacted schools in east Elmore City/Pernell, Paoli, Stratford, Whitebead, and his hometown of Wynnewood.
During his tenure, Hancock played a key role in guiding the institution through advancements in technology and education, ensuring students in his district had access to high-quality technical training and resources.
“It has been an honor to serve the community and contribute to the growth and success of MATC,” Hancock said in a statement.
