Newcastle’s Racer girls basketball had two wins in their trip to Arkansas over the Thanksgiving break.
The Racers beat North Little Rock, 51-50, and then beat Earle, 52-49.
Freshman Kalani Kindred had 28 points in the first game and 24 points in the second game to lead Racer scoring. Freshman Kaelin Horton had 11 for the Racers in game one, and juinor Raegan Greenroyd had six points.
Sophomore Lilly Taliaferro had seven points in the second game, and sophomore Ziyah Sims had six. Jailiana Salas, a freshman, had five points, while had four.
Senior Whitney Wollenberg had three and sophomore Emerson Marble had three. The Racers begin regular season play December 10 at Chickasha.
