Unified Cheer

Unified Cheer places 4th at State Newcastle High School’s Unified Cheer team competed at Regionals in Stillwater, then qualified as one of the top 6 teams to finish 4th place in State at Moore High School on November 15. The Racers finished right below all Class 6A schools. Unified Sports involves people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team, and is a concept that training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
