The public is invited to an Indian Taco and Meat pie fundraiser meal which is planned from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until sold out on Saturday at the United Methodist Church, 121 E. Fox Lane in Newcastle.
The event is a fundraiser for Taj Smith, a Newcastle and Risin baseball player who is in need of summer travel expenses and equipment.
Meat pies are $7, Indian tacos are $8, and an Indian Taco with drink and a slice of cake is $10.
Drinks include either Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, Sprite or water. You can dine-in or you can carry your meal out, and delivery is available in the area.
