Seeks limited government, maximum freedoms for Oklahomans

Kendal Sacchieri was sworn into the Oklahoma Senate during a ceremony in the Senate Chamber on Wednesday. The Senate’s Chief Presiding Officer, Sen. Brent Howard, presided over the ceremony, and Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice M. John Kane IV administered the oath of office.

“I am honored to be elected to serve the people,” Sacchieri said. “Conservative values are alive and well in Senate District 43, and I extend my appreciation to those who have entrusted me to serve as their voice. I will be a warrior for limited government and maximum freedom for Oklahomans.

“I praise God for the opportunity to serve and I’m excited to get to work defending the blessings of liberty and prosperity.”

Born and raised on her family farm in Southern Illinois, Sacchieri said her roots run deep in conservative governance. She said she has a love of Christ, and a strong belief that you help your neighbors out when they are down, not wait for the government to step in and solve problems.

Sacchieri moved to Oklahoma after high school to play volleyball for Randall University in Moore. Upon earning her Bachelor of Science in Spanish, she taught and coached at Newcastle High School for four years, until leaving education in 2018 to serve the taxpayers of Mc-Clain County. She served as McClain County Assessor until she won the Senate District 43 seat.

Sacchieri has been married to her husband Ray for eight years and they have three boys – 4-year-old twins, Sam and Denver, and Huck, 18 months. The Sacchieris call Blanchard home, where Ray’s family has lived for several generations.

She will begin her first term in the Oklahoma Senate on November 20.
