Wrestling is getting underway for the 2024-25 school year with pre-season events. Last weekend, the Newastle Racers wrestled at Westmoore, and this Saturday, they’ll go to the Greg George Southmoore Preseason Classic.
A t Westmoore, the following wrestlers placed: Trinity Duran, 2nd; Tatum McDaniel, 3rd; Eason Beaty, 2nd; Jaxon Mitchell, 2nd; Aden Wason, 4th; and Chason Burnside, 4th.
Newcastle junior high travels to the Westmoore JH Preview today (Thursday).
