An Open House and Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting was at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church, 1650 N. Main Street in Newcastle. Cutting the ribbon are pastors Jeremy Freeman and Nathan Presley. Related photos and a story will be in the November 21 issue of the Newcastle Pacer. The event was in celebration of the opening of a new worship facility, atrium, outdoor commons area, drop off, and exterior face lift. The facility has been under construction for the past 14 months.
