Four Newcastle High School Band members were named All-State this year after auditions November 2 at Tuttle High School.
Braxton Cyrus was 3rd chair clarinet. Katelynn Lewis was sixth chair French horn. Cooper Lamb was 4th chair euphonium. And, Ella Whitmore was named 1st alternate on the contra clarinet. Lewis has earned a place in this band for three years in a row.
Oklahoma Small School Band Directors Association All-State consists of students in classes 2A-4A across Oklahoma.
