Racer Basketball is gearing up for a new season with its annual Racer Madness fundraiser event scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, November 18 at the main gymnasium. They also have reserved seating season tickets on sale as a fundraiser.
Racer Madness features introductions of all the players, from Newcastle Youth Basketball Association to junior high and high school boys and girls. The cost to attend is $3.
They’ll have scrimmages, a live DJ, games, raffles and contests, along with concessions and an apparel sale. Cheer, Pom and band will perform that night.
Reserved seats are available for the basketball season at $80 each. These are good for all junior varsity/varsity home games and for this year’s Sweet Pea Basketball Tournament.
Event organizers said pick your seat nights will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. November 11, November 13 and November 18.
