Business Trick or Treat

Area residents are invited to trick-or-treat Newcastle businesses from 4-7 p.m. today (Thursday). Newcastle Chamber of Commerce will be announcing which businesses are taking part. With that said, businesses wanting to participate can email [email protected].
The annual Haunt the Park will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Park in Newcastle. City Parks and Recreation Director Kyle Marks said local businesses and organizations are setting up their Trick-or-Treat booths or game booths for family enjoyment.
Area residents looking to adopt a dog will have that possibility at Veterans Park on Saturday. The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City Animal Shelter for this activity during the Haunt the Park, going on at the same time.
